Our family private boat charters near Nice bring swimming, sightseeing and time together into one personal day on the Mediterranean.
Younger children may prefer shorter stretches of cruising. Teenagers might want another swim and their own music. Parents and grandparents may appreciate comfortable seating, shade and enough time to enjoy the view.
A private charter gives us room to plan around those different priorities. Your family has L’Esquinade, our Sunseeker Portofino 35, privately for the day, with your skipper handling the boat.
You board in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, between Nice and Monaco. Tell us who’s joining and what they enjoy, and we’ll help shape a realistic route.
- Private use of the boat for your family group.
- An English-speaking professional skipper included.
- A balance of cruising, suitable swimming stops and relaxation.
- Help with lunch plans and practical arrangements before you arrive.
Room for different versions of a good day.
You don’t all have to enjoy the same thing at the same moment.
A day with changes of scene.
Watching the coast, stopping for lunch, relaxing aboard and swimming when appropriate give the day variety. Tell us your children’s ages so we can help plan a sensible pace.
Water time and their own soundtrack.
Swimming, snorkelling and Bluetooth music can make the day feel personal. There’s space to relax between stops without needing every moment organised.
A chance to enjoy it too.
Sit in the shade, take photographs and enjoy the scenery while your skipper handles the boating. Share any mobility or boarding needs before booking.
The little practical things make a difference.
Shade when someone needs a break. A table for lunch. A bathroom aboard.
Our 35-foot Sunseeker Portofino 35 combines open-air cruising with useful facilities for a family day on the water.
Gather in the cockpit seating area, relax beneath the bimini or enjoy the bow sunbed when your skipper advises it is appropriate. Inside are a salon, two cabins, a kitchenette and a bathroom with toilet and shower.
Comfort aboard.
Your group is limited to six guests in total, including children and babies.
More swimming can matter more than another landmark.
A family charter doesn’t need to cover the greatest possible distance. Often, a focused route leaves more room for the parts everyone enjoys.
Cruising around Cap Ferrat and Villefranche can combine coastal scenery with suitable stops for swimming and time aboard. A longer route toward Èze and Monaco may suit families keen to see more of the coast.
Tell us whether your family prefers more time in the water or more sightseeing. Your skipper can adapt the plan where practical, while allowing time to return to port.
Make water time part of the plan.
Towels and snorkelling equipment are aboard. Let us know your children’s swimming experience and any concerns before the charter.
Swimming depends on weather, sea state, traffic and local rules. Your skipper selects suitable permitted stopping areas and may recommend an alternative.
A few details help us make the day work for your family.
Share these when planning so we can discuss suitable arrangements before you board.
Tell us who is joining.
Let us know if children under 16 will be aboard so appropriately sized life jackets can be provided. If bringing a baby or very young child, discuss their requirements with us before booking.
Keep familiar favourites handy.
Bring snacks and suitable drinks for your children, even if a restaurant lunch is planned. You can bring food aboard or discuss catering and waterfront restaurant options in advance.
Choose a realistic day.
Tell us about rest needs, boarding concerns or worries about long stretches of cruising. A full day suits many families; the best pace depends on your group.

Family private boat charters near Nice: your questions.
How many people can join our family charter?
We accommodate up to six charter guests in total. Children and babies count within that limit. The skipper is aboard to operate the boat.
Are children and babies welcome?
Yes. Tell us the ages of everyone joining, particularly babies and younger children, so we can discuss appropriate arrangements and whether the planned day suits your family.
Do you provide children’s life jackets?
Please tell us in advance if children under 16 will be aboard so appropriately sized life jackets can be provided. Share their ages and discuss any sizing needs before the charter.
Does the skipper supervise our children?
Parents remain responsible for supervising their children aboard and while swimming. Your skipper operates the boat and makes the practical navigation and stopping decisions. Childcare is not part of the charter.
Is there shade and a bathroom?
Yes. L’Esquinade has shaded cockpit seating beneath the bimini and a bathroom with toilet and shower. There is also a dining table, interior salon, kitchenette and refrigeration.
Is the charter good for teenagers?
Teenagers can enjoy swimming and snorkelling when appropriate, their own music through Bluetooth and time to relax between stops. Tell us their interests when planning the day.
Can children swim from the boat?
Swimming may be possible when conditions, the location and your children’s abilities make it appropriate. Parents supervise their children in the water. Your skipper chooses suitable permitted stops.
Can someone stay aboard while others swim?
Yes. Guests who prefer to stay aboard can enjoy the seating, shade and scenery. Nobody needs to swim to enjoy the day.
